Royal Kongo Gold Mining is a Canadian and Congolese Gold Mining Company with one producing Gold Mines in advancing Gold exploration projects in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The Company will be soon listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
The exploration site is located in South Kivu Province, 25 kilometres southeast of the city of Bukavu and 35 kilometres west of the border between Democratic Republic of the Congo and Burundi.
Royal Kongo Gold develop an open pit exploration at Nyamurhale, located at the southern end of the Walungu.
The reserves were calculated and published in the feasibility report of January 2013 and in the report of June 2009 (which is a revision of the old report following the new performances in metallurgical gold recovery tests). This feasibility report of June 2012 indicates a probable reserve increase (Probable) in the order of 0.67 million ounces compared to the probable reserves published in June 2012 This study indicates an average annual production of 182,979 ounces of gold during the first three years of operation in the Walungu.
The Exploration is ongoing at Nyamurhale with the objective of developing two open pit exploration and increasing the oxide resources. Plans include a preliminary economic assessment to be completed in 2018.
With Probable Mineral Reserves of 1.02 million Ounces, Royal Kongo Gold Mining ’s properties host a major Gold resource in Democratic Republic of Congo.
